When a source changes
A moved or unavailable URL does not prove a product is discontinued. Recheck the OEM website and dated collateral; downgrade unsupported facts to unresolved until the replacement source is reviewed. Preserve the previous record, reason and review date.
Maintenance procedure
Assign a named data owner and verify delivery to the configured correction mailbox before public launch. Review launch-critical availability and quotes before a buying decision. Run scripts/verify-federal.py to refresh federal records, inspect differences, then rebuild and test. No automatic background monitoring is enabled.
